Moving to Sweden

Hi

Me my wife and two children are moving to Sweden from the Uk. My wife and children are Swedish citizens and have lived in the UK with me for the past 5years. My children ages 1 and 3.

Can I apply for the residence permit while in Sweden with my wife and kids? It seem like the family would have to split up in order for me to apply for the permit. It just doesn鈥檛 sound right that we have had a normal family life in the UK and we have to separated in order to move to my wife鈥檚 native country.

Go to MIGRATIONSVERKET.SE and read about it. Since you are the only one not a Swedish citizen, Your applikation Will be considered more quickly. That being Said, 鈥漲uickly鈥� is relative to volume at the Authority. Find out who your handler is as soon as possible and be in regular contact.
