Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention that the spouse of the staff member is currently residing abroad. Is there any protocol that states whether the husband should be present during the duration of the pregnancy?

There is no such protocol, whether during or at delivery.聽 You just need to have proof of marriage to deliver in Bahrain without issues.
