Are controlled sleep medications like ambien and lunesta available in bahrain? assuming you have a prescription?

You can get sleep drugs with a prescription but it is purely the discretion of your GP. I still get mine shipped from the UK though. Valerium Root is very good (available from Boots) have to take it for a few nights before it kicks in though

I forgot to ask another related question: Is it ok to bring my current USA prescription bottle and pills (ambien) with me when I move there? Or could that get me in trouble

I bring my UK ones and as long as you have a copy of the prescription it is fine (not sure about US though) when I need more - I order in the UK and Aramex ship them door to door for me. May be worth getting in touch with them as they knew every rule that I had to follow.
