Hi,
as per LMRA law, it gives companies 4 weeks of grace time, if they don't pay the fees before that they tend to cancel the visa. Not sure why it has been the same since your telling that its been more than a month. It is better to get it clarified with your company about that status.

If the visa expires on its own, then i guess the new employer can apply for a new work visa.

If the visa  automatically expires  during my absence can i return to Bahrain again on new visa. And if the Bahrain visa is not cancelled and its valid, can i get residency of other places such as qatar, oman , uae.

No you cannot get residency anywhere else, but you may be able to visit the countries based on your title on the CPR.

logicalindian you right i am just adding more...
As i know companies have to pay your visa fee to LMRA.
But if they not paying then you have to ask your HR department and ask them to clear that LMRA Working Permit records. Because LMRA will create problem whenever you leave Bahrain or Come Back in Bahrain..... although you have CPR and Visa of 2 years.

Thanks to every one. I believe i am in some serious trouble then...If i plan to go out of Bahrain  will immigration cause problems while going  or while returning????Cannot i get a work visa of any other GCC country as well. will they ask me to get this visa of bahrain cancelled first??which my present employer will not do...what are the options left for me...
