Acceptable Dress code in Corporate office

Hi All,

I would like to know the acceptable dress code for females in Corporate office.

During my visit to couple of middle east countries i have observed that women are usually seen in business formals. Is this the norm in Bahrain as well?

Is Indian wear an acceptable dress code? Or is it out of place?

Look it depends on the company you are working for.聽 Business formals are totally fine in most of the companies but Indian dress in most multinationals or large regional companies who have highly professional environments, is generally out of place.聽 But then again, in some companies with a different environment, it is fine.聽聽See what your workplace is like first.

Hi Surekha

As XTANG mentioned it varies in different company based on their policies.

However most of the companies I have visited during meetings, observed that Indian dresses like salwar should be fine. Anyways it would be better to cross verify with your company's HR.
