Oman Hepatitis B Requirements

Does anyone know about the Hepatitis B latest requirements. I am chronic carrier since 12 years even PCR +ve since 6 years with little viral load and my doctor still saying no treatment required. The document available at ministry website is of 2012 and as per that document i can't go there. Anyone with Heptatis B doing job there? please contact

You need to prove that this virus is not infectious. Try to contact gastroenterologist and conduct lab test such as HBsAg, HBe-antigen, liver function test (LFT), ultrasound of abdomen, HBV DNA quantitative, etc. ask the doctor to create a letter to explain the result. It will help the doctor in the ministry of health in analysis the result. hope it helps

Even I had similar case. No treatment required. U have to do all tests and submit in MOM.

Ive left Oman in 2021.
