hello,聽 can anybody guide聽 which books should be refered for preparing 'oman medical licensure exam.also how difficult is exam.i am using OHCS &聽 OHCS. how is weather in oman,what is 'exclusively needed' regarding food, & other items before coming in oman from india.

Oxford Handbook of Medicine and Oxford Handbook ofClinical specialities are more then enough for OMLE rest this exam is subject oriented of you are appearing in a speciality (Urology/Paediatrics) 90% questions will be from your subject!
Specialty exam : True& False (negative marking) and Single best Q&A and 4 Short notes followed by interview with board and subject specialist in two weeks time after passing theory exam.

Hi..my name is Dr. Pallavi.... I have done DCH from India. Right now I am staying in oman, muscat. I tried once prometric for paediatrics. Cleared my prometric but could not clear my oral exam in two attempts though. Pls tell me what is the procedure further. I mean can I give another attempt at oral..... Or start all over again with prometric written exam....an if yes what is the minimum time period for which I can't give my written exam???? Thanks...

i passed the prometric osmb dental exam,i do find it disturbing that no forums do give a clear cut idea of the questions or books to refer for preparing the exam.i find it pretty intentional from the part of the doctors wo did pass the exam and wish the others to go through the same ordeal as they did.
so for the dental exam do refer a book called mcq review for saudi licensing exam.u can read it for free if u search it in scribd.com.(complied by a blessed arab dentist)
scribd.com/doc/55039189/Saudi-Licence-Exam-for-General-Dentistj.but do recheck the answers of few questions...50/70 questions came from this book when i gav the exam..u will find a group called ozident too useful.
