Stamping status- help

Hello people,

I have submitted my passport in March end for work visa stamping through agent. Till now I'm not getting it, everytime I tried contacting agent they are providing new reasons to it. What is really happening in Mumbai consulate and whether the stamping is going or what? Please advise me on this.
