As per our GA, there is no other way to change your profession from Acctg to other profession. But if you have any solution kindly please share. thank you

Yes, just go to SOCPA website and start registration, they need passport copy, iqama copy, copy of your Degree Certificate and copy of attestation from embassy and ministry of external affairs, most of the people last step is difficult so just take copy of your marksheet or same copy of degree certificate upload it system will accept,聽 then they will send the details to your university for verification it will take minimum 2 years meanwhile they will allocate a temporary registration number, later after verification passed you will get permanent registration number.

You cannot change your profession from out side , If you're working in the company you should ask your HR team to change your profession from Accountant to other profession which should be related to office desk job.
Example: Marketing specialist, consultant manager, Data entry , document Controller.
Note: The charges will be 1000 SAR/- to change the profession.

To clarify for everyone, as I keep seeing these repeated posts.

Profession change OUT of accounting into other professions is blocked in the system.聽聽And even manually, they will turn you back.聽 The only options you have:

1) If Iqama is expiring, renew SOCPA.聽 SOCPA will not be renewed if you don't have qualifications.聽 If someone is telling you to do the registration with any document and it will work........remember that the initial registration is a temporary 1 year only.聽 After a year, your membership will be cancelled if you didn't show the right qualifications and you will be stuck
2) Go for final exit and come back on the right profession
3) Find an agent who can get it done.聽 Although I doubt that it can be done now this way as it is all electronic

The other point, from the comments, DON'T GO for marketing specialist profession.聽聽The rumors' are that it is next in line for Saudization.聽 You can switch INTO it but switching OUT of it, has recently been blocked.

Recently my scopa portal got invalid, they did not accept my certification so how do
I active my portal, I have been working 15 years as an accountant. so can I submit my experience
Letter for scopa to renew my iqama for time been . Please advice

Accounts department is only for Saudis now.
Even if you get the registration, your iqama will not be renewed.

No.聽 There is a 30% Saudization requirement only.聽 If that is met (and SOCPA membership is valid) then there is no issue in renewing Iqamas.聽 My company meets this and we are renewing Iqamas without any problem.

Hi, I just wanted to ask regarding change of occupation. My Situation is that,聽 recently got transferred to a new company with an executive secretary position.

my iqama profession was tours programmer, but when I join to my new company they changed it to executive secretary.

then, after a month, the government announce that secretary jobs will 100% saudinization. they provide a deadline until may 7,2022. to adhere.

now, my company is trying to change my occupation to a new one but they couldnt do it. even in online, I just wanted to know if there is really no choice for me but to go on exit? or is there any way that my profession can still be changed?

Profession change is blocked right now.
You can wait until the iqama expiry.
If it doesn't unblock till your iqama expiry then you have to leave and come back on a new visa.

Hi my SOCPA membership has canceled and my employer terminated me as per reason my iqama cannot renew. And he is not paying my dues. As per contract he has to pay me 2 months notice but he is not paying. Can I apply labor office. My iqama is expire and I am under other sponsor. Can any one suggest Me how can I get my dues.

You will get it changed but it can take a little effort from your HR department.

Secondly, I do not have Marketing/Sales degree but I am working as a Marketing executive. I recently completed Masters In Project Management (UK). What would be the best solution in this case? I do not want to continue with my General Accountant profession.

Sorry bro, you can't change it then.
You need a proper degree to change your profession to sales or marketing.
But you have management degree and you can't change your profession from accounts department to management (because it is blocked for now).
If don't have a degree related to accounts, your iqama will not be renewed.
It will be better to leave in time and come back on another visa with proper profession according to your education.

So what about changing it to any (non management) profession based on my Project Management Masters degree? Like if someone works in operations department or if someone is a business analyst, what are the requirements for such professions? I mean how can I best use my PM degree to change to related profession while staying in the Kingdom on the same visa?

Yes I Have a 3 Year Diploma of Inventory Management, but when my HR try to change the profession from QIWA its showing that it is not allowed by MOL.

That's the problem.
You can't just change it to another field.
There is no other way around, you need to leave in time.
Go on final exit and come back on new visa with a proper profession related to your degree/diploma.
