Here in KSA, unfortunately friendships are often formed solely on what people can do for each other.听 If you have nothing to offer (ie. you're not on a western compound--you're not promiscuous--you're not wealthy), you're out.

It sounds harsh and I'm sorry.听 But I've seen this play out time and again.

I have made some good friends here and we are having fun and been to a few parties etc and i'm sure in time we will meet many new people. It's not a problem if you're married but it IS a problem for singles to try to hang out.

I don't think God made a mistake. I think we can agree that God doesn't make mistakes--so that means he made people this way deliberately.听 It's up to us to understand why

I respect your opinions--I know that Islam has very strict views on many things.听 Discussions such as these are how we all learn what others think and there's nothing wrong with agreeing to disagree 听
