This query may maybe a bit too soon since I only had the recruiter sending my CV and skills to a company that is searching for people with my role.

But, the thought of moving to Saudi keeps me awake at night thinking about my wife and her future so I felt I got to ask here.

We live in London and if they call me, I wonder what would happen to my wife's career.

Can the family apply for a work visa after coming in? (assuming she would come with me as part of the family but only I would have a job in the beginning).

she currently works as a nursery chef on the biggest group in the UK (Bright Horizons) and she's highly praised for her work, but I wonder if expats can take such jobs in Riyadh? (I heard something about only certain jobs being allowed for expats).

The reason why I am asking this is because I do know my wife would go crazy after a few months of being a typical housewife. Nothing against housewives but just that my wife always worked since she was 18 and she can't "stand still" for months.
