Friends!
I would like to know how to use the Black Berry services.
Can we use MsN messengers? Facebook Chat? and How do i look for apps??

Also is the BIS from STC good?

Ermmm.. i used to be a Nokia Fan! 3310 was my first

then i came to Iphone now Black Berry, so i would need help

I use prepaid BIS from STC...works well for me...its 99 SAR/month..

MSN/Gmail/Yahoo works...facebook application is banned, you have to used FB from the browser...you have download apps to your laptop and then transfer it on your BB...the regular application "BB APP WORLD" does not work as well in the Kingdom.

don't fancy an iphone type interface...BB is more email friendly and offers a real time messenger service otherwise its a very standard device.

there are some apps through which i think u can use fb chat too... and as for some queries, try asking people from bbin.in

I use Mobily, you can use MSN, Yahoo and others along with facebook, I am ok with the service.

Why does the handset disconnect frequently from the BIS?

i think wenever u r out of 3g coverage it disconnects for some seconds... 3g sucks in jeddah but riyadh its ok... but still, if u r facing that prob, i suggest u to mobile network options and select 2g only

Hello friends,

Guys I just downloaded the whats up application of Iphone to my BB. you can also download from whatsapp.com its a good application to connect with you iphone friends. now i have bb messenger and iphone messenger on my blackberry. Also i found OperaMini is quite faster then its normal browser...

Another great news which i received yesterday is.. the application world will be available soon. its available in聽 most of the counties of middle east... it will be available in KSA soon.. so after that facebook will be open as well. here is the link for more information.

Please do share if you are using some good application in your BB.

I use the 9700 bold and I like it very much especially the email functions.聽 It will update to my blackberry quicker than my desktop.聽 I use the STC prepaid but since I am only incountry for 5 weeks at a time I use the 29 SAR per week.聽 Not as much hassle to activate one service for four weeks and one for one week.

Is the bb playbook available in the kingdom yet and what are the prices.聽 I want to find out if its cheaper to buy here than in Canada.聽 I saved about 300 CAN dollars buying the blackberry here than at home.
