Where to live in Izmir

What are some of the safe areas/ neighbourhoods to live in Izmir within commuting distance to the city centre? Also, what are some neighbourhoods to avoid? Which part of Izmir would be considered the business district with many firms and offices?

Previous Year I spent two days in Izmir and I met really good people there. I lived near Ege university and it was a nice area.

HI there,

In izmir there are so many industrial zones such as in Kemalpa艧a,聽 menemen, Gaziemir,聽莽i臒li,聽 and the neighborhood to avoid is absolutely around a place called WESTPARK , all weed users are there and trouble makers ... if you need a job you can consult these useful sites " indeed , karier.net聽 I always find suitable jobs in izmir especially cause there are not too much foreigners means they always need one not like in Istanbul for instance .

Any help don't hesitate
