Hi I have normal x-ray from private clinic here in Dubai, in fitness center they ask me for second medical, I had TB before last 20 yrs ago.. will I be rejected now聽 I'm 2 years now in UAe and past medical fitness are ok.. only now I am ask to do 2nd medical in sonapur

Basis my understanding -

If you are an existing resident and renewing your visa- there won鈥檛 be any issue. You may be asked to come for follow ups but you will get a visa.

if you left the country / applied over 6 months later, it鈥檒l be treated as a new application- in that case it could get rejected

Hi maybe someone can answer me. Do i need to wait the result for my 2nd follow up (1 year) before i can renew my visa?

Finally after a period of 1 month and 15 days waiting for medical report, it is finally out and given 1 year visa,

@xtang I would to ask you or anyone here. Being given one year again, is it because I changed visa? Coz my last visa was one year with follow ups as I hve been explaining this matter here but I didn鈥檛 renew it, I cancelled it and got offer from another company hence changing visa. So could this be the root cause for being given one year visa again instead of 2 years
