UAE is 6 categories only.聽 In the rest of the GCC, you cannot get a work visa.

Iraq and Egypt are not part of the GCC.聽聽They may have their own requirement.

You will not be deported. Im hepb positive and worked as an admin in a construction company. I passed the medical and got a residency. God is good all the time.

Office boy is fine unless you are working in a school or nursery in which case it will be an issue.聽 Only you can figure out what your situation is and refer back to what the government says - as posted above.

As far as I know, there IS an X-ray for new visas in all Emirates.

For example, when I got my first UAE visa back in 2010, I went through X-Ray in Dubai and then again for renewal in 2013.

There is a user who asked whether they can get visa in other GCC countries if you test positive for HBV. You can get work visa in Oman. I have HBV and i've been working here for 7 years now though you will need alot of support from your company.

Don't give people false hope.聽 What you have said is not proven by mainstream science.聽 Herbal remedies are good for health but will NOT remove a positive Hep B result which is what is being discussed.

Some guidance from a government funded "proper" medical site:

Special Herbal Cures
Among the many scams very common are Herbalist Doctors and Witch Doctors and Muti Doctors saying they have a special group of herbs that will cure Hepatitis B. The point we need to remember is all the herbs and products and diet that can help us look after our livers are available at our supermarkets and health food shops. We do not need anyone to tell us

As a warning to forum members, please be very wary on sending money or payments for supposed medical cures which have no basis in science.

Do you know about Hep B rules on ADNOC?聽 is the rule implement on all UAE company ?
in 2015 I miss opportunity to get job on Takreer (ADNOC), I decide not to do medical test because there are HbsAg test on the medical list and I have HbsAg +. They will stamp me unfit and I will not get the working visa. It is make me down and very disappointed.
If the rules is implemented for all company in UAE, I will try to get opportunity job in UAE again

Its based on category and professions.聽 But individual companies are free to decide their own policy regarding this.

I am also Hep B, and applying for Mechanical Engineering jobs.

I know I am not falling under 6 categories, but just want to know are those centers properly communicated by their government that Other categories should not be tested ? because any fool person can apply test on our blood since they already get our blood.

I would like to know about the hepatitus B checkup for University professor. As per the rule it is not fall directly n to the six cateegories, but I afraid it will consider as a teacher. So there is a lot of uncertainty in to this matter. So request you聽 all to provide me some idea in this regard.

As per law, nursery and kindergarten teachers may be tested for hepatitis. I don't think so for it will be same for higher grade teachers and professors.
