That's what I have attempted to explain many times. Profession wise, you have no issue but you might have an issue depending on how CR is structured.聽 And unfortunately, I have no way of giving a definitive answer as I don't know how your company CR is structured - that is what you are going to have to ask your company yourself.

I am one of the positive sir.. for clarrification is ur job working as safety officer? I have a doubt that comes to my mind if i will pursue or not with this career.

Does, we can work anywhere in uae so long as its not related to food handlers, housemaids, restaurant workers and nannies?

And what about logistics career, is it possible to get a job its just atleast i have plan be if i cannot proceed as safety officer.

Hi Xtang,

I am Hep B positive since 2012. However, I got UAE work visa three times and everytime it was new visa sincs I was outside UAE. Now, it is first time my Visa status is getting transfrred as i got new job offer. My question is in inside country Visa transfer and during medicals do they consider Hep B for my profession which is consultant in IT. Same designation on my Visa. This time i am getting my Visa from Sharjah Saif zone. I have already given my medicals and waiting for result. Appreciate your response.

Why are the 6 categories, so vague?聽

They should have a transparent online book list of registered companies in the UAE that shows what category they are in. This would help so much if implemented, to know if people are able to work in their jobs or not, rather than turning up for work and being harshly discriminated against.聽聽

I would like to know if anyone has contacted the authorities of the health department with a fit-to-work doctor's note etc. if so, what did they say, and was it accepted?

Also to the very few accepted into UAE, working in the non 6 categories, is paying for your routine check-up and treatment easily done without deportation?

I am not sure where you can get it in UAE, maybe call some pharmacies in UAE with an unknown number to see if they have it.聽

If I was in your shoes, I would be worried about deportation just from getting TDF treatment medications in UAE, as the law seems to discriminate a lot against health issues, even if you are physically fit to work which I think is very very wrong and needs to be updated.

I would advise getting it outside any of the gulf countries, places where the price is reasonable.

I would be cautious of ordering medicines, into the UAE or anywhere in the Gulf nations as they discriminate and ban people with their medical visa laws. I have not tried it before,聽 I would advise contacting airport/shipment security on their rules of importing medications into the country to understand the process.聽

If all seems okay after you contact them, then you can search for the medication from another countries pharmacy that sells it at a reasonable price online and make a purchase order.
