Thank you for welcoming me to the Forum.
We are Frans and Denise Gouws, from Scottburgh, South Africa.聽 We recently moved to the coast to improve our overall health and way of living.聽 We had a massive culture shock when we realised that I now fall in the category of people that are not allowed a job in our country as I am a middle aged white man.聽 Our country's politics never made its way into our home in such a way, and it has caused us to rethink our situation, especially because we have 3 beautiful boys.
I have been in the motor industry as a dealership accountant for over 18 years, and have been job-hunting on a daily basis for the last 7 months (and have been turned down because of my age and skin colour for just as long).聽 My wife is a qualified liquidator that has over 12 years insolvency law experience, but have been privately tutoring children that cannot cope in normal mainstream schools, due to ADHD, Dyslexia, Aspergers or any other reason.
We have only just begun with our journey to take the leap and relocate to Canada, and would rejoice at any help/suggestions......whatever there is available.聽 The internet is so full off people that jump at the chance to make a quick few bucks off you, and we would rather listen to people with experience.
Thank you for accepting us on this form.
Thanks

We hope to start a family in Quebec but want to learn as much as we can (or at least I do). He seems not to worry聽
