Which part of Canada are you immigrating to? Huge difference in living costs when comparing, say, St. John's, Newfoundland to downtown Vancouver.

What is your definition of comfortable? Are you OK with an average two bedroom apartment? Do you want a fully detached home with backyard pool? Will you drive or use public transit?

Thinking of relocating to Halifax, NS. a simple room or even better a Studio would do it for me a retired senior woman who is able to walk & work.
