I'll be new sudents in texas and I need help about rent a flat

Hello I am from Morocco I'll come next month to texas for studying I wloud know some informations about cost rent and food and how is the life there ?
also I want advice about what the best idea is rent a flat or live in campus ?
it's esay to adapt whit english language and community ?
