Hi Ken,聽 Thank you for the Christmas wishes and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2023!聽 I would say too, enjoy a cold Christmas while you can!聽 This is our third Christmas in South America and I told my husband that as my Christmas present I want a promise of Christmas in NC next year.聽 I miss the Christmas weather and being with our children.聽 It just doesn't feel like Christmas in 30 degree C weather.聽 Good luck with your upcoming move!

l am a bit the opposite. Having grown up in the mountains of NC, l have had enough snow and ice to last a lifetime. If l get sentimental l will buy a snow globe! 馃槃

This cold weather we are having now is brutal. I My sister lives in Louisville KY. She told me they closed down the airport in Cincinnati due to blizzard conditions. It鈥檚 the first time in 40 years they had to close.

you all in NC as well. I feel your pain with cold and wanting to leave it. Last Winter I decided would be my last one up north!聽 I just moved to the HOT Jo茫o Pessoa (NE) here in Brazil in June. My first Christmas here tonight and it's cooled down to a pleasant 82 f now after sunset... Lol... I survived 60 years of the the brutal cold and lots of snow in Minnesota! I miss the beauty of the snow, but not the cold! It's been like -10 f up there the last few days. Best wishes on your upcoming move. .
