Returning to Colombia after 10 years: visas/residency

Cayari

Hi everyone

I am a British guy and have been married to a Colombian woman for 14 years now. 10 years ago we were living /

working in Bogota, and went through various visa processes as I recall (all very easy at least compared to Brazil!), I was teaching at UniAndes and the Nacional on short contracts.

Before I left I was supposed to pick up some sort of identity card, but never got the chance to (cant remember what kind of card, memory is sketchy!)

But we left in 2013 and have been living in the UK since then. Now we are thinking of moving back, and will visit

this month.

Now I'm sure I'll have to start from scratch in getting longer visas / residency. But I wondered, where do i go

to find out what "residual" information there is on me in the system. Maybe I wont have to go through proving we

are married etc because I've already done it and it is registered in the system ?聽 This might be wishful thinking, but worth

knowing....

Many thanks in advance
