Bob, what type of visa has allowed you to be in Medellin for 8 years? Perhaps your just visiting a few months here and there?

After exploring Colombia since my first visit/extended stay to Bogota in 1990 I arrived in Medellin in December 2010 so 16 years of which the first 6 years (2010-2017) spent 180 days each year/multiple visits then started my visa process in 2017/2018 converted to a retirement/pensioner visa about 6 years ago and just last month gained my RESIDENTE visa so here are a few of my experiences.

I have used AUTAURCHY visa and tax attorneys with office in Envigado, Santa Marta and Bogota I believe. Rodger Schmidt has become a good friend of mine. They have performed all of my visas including last month my Residente visa they also have been doing my Colombia tax filing each year for 7 years so I know them well. They will handle the whole process and it has been a godsend for me, reasonable and solid service you can't ask for anything more.

At the time being I am visiting family/friends in Huntington Beach, California and have been here for over a month and miss my life, my home in my small pueblo and my Colombian friends聽 as Colombia has become my home.
