I'd agree, €22k is around what you would expect as a junior accountant in Malta. If you do a good job most companies would probably increase that to €25-€26k after your 6 month probation. Read More

There's a website with direct contact details of property owners called Noagentfees.com. It's not incredibly popular but I found my last apartment on there and it gets maybe an update or 2 a day with a new property. Read More

The reason we didn't want to live in the south was because I had heard that the bus service is terrible and it takes over an hour (up to 2 hours in rush hour) to get to Valletta if it is quicker than this it could widen our search area. Read More
