Vodafone will also do it, but charge a deposit depending on the phone. After a year you get this back as a credit onto your bill. Read More

Is it worth having a cheque book for our Malta bank account? Are cheques used on Malta/Gozo. I ask as cheques are hardly used at all in UK and I have only had to use a debit card, thus far on Malta/Gozo. Thanks.
