K visa troubles

Did anyone apply for a K visa last year and got it within 6 months?


I applied for mine last year. Used a lawyer and gave all the documents showing proof of funds, etc


No reply and nothing from them.


I'm seeing a lot f people here saying it took 6 months. I am now at the 7 month mark.

Don't suggest asking the lawyer, she has been useless and even suggested I pay them an extra 1,500 to 'facilitate things'

My friend. To acquire a visa from Kenya immigration is like going to the moon.

Kenya immigration is very disorganised and corrupt.

I had a huge investment idea but had to give up because of immigration issues. We took our business to Uganda. No problem.
