MDEC EP Cancellation

I got a job offer from company A, who is currently in the process of submitting my EP. My application is currently visible in MDEC. I got another job offer from company B that I wish to accept, since they are providing me with a higher salary. Before I sign an offer letter with them, they are requesting that I have my online application with company A cancelled.


In this situation, what steps does company A need to do to cancel my EP application online? How long will it take and can company B apply for a new EP for me as soon as my previous application is no longer present in MDEC? Will I need to pay any penalties for the cancellation?
