Expat/Balikbayan from California

Hi everybody! I鈥檓 not exactly an 鈥渆xpat鈥� but a dual citizen because my $$ is tied up in America. I鈥檓 also not exactly a 鈥淏alikbayan鈥� since I was born and raised in the U.S. I鈥檓 a middle-aged Filipino-American, coming here to learn about my heritage & learn Tagalog. I want to meet other Americans, because the transition has been really hard. The Tagalog or Filipino that they speak here is fast and I鈥檓 still a novice. Just want to meet others like me for community & hanging out, as well as other novice Tagalog/Filipino learners to practice with.

Suggest you say where in the Philippines you will be living,聽 lol.聽 I hang out with around four to six expats here in Dasmarinas,聽 Cavite area,聽 but no way we鈥檙e going to the metro, lol. If you鈥檙e in the area,聽 you could come out with us, we get together every two to four weeks
