Not necessarily. The main arbiter of any currencies聽 strength are interest rates which are now starting to come down Stateside. The US dollar benefits when there are major shocks to the world economies such as Covid. It is considered a 鈥榮afe鈥� haven for investors to park their money. The US $ is the reserve currency of the world and dominates the currency markets much to the chagrin of the Chinese (and Fred?馃槈)

The world economy is starting to recover and confidence is returning (albeit slowly) to world markets. Of course other factors are at play too in determining a currencies strength but I don鈥檛 want to send readers to sleep.
