What are the elegibility requirements for this card?

tphgawn asked. . . . What are the elegibility requirements for this card?

***

That's a good question, I see you were originally from the UK. In the states there are various factors, how many years have you held other cards, your income, the percentage outstanding balances compared to total purchasing power of your cards and your ability to pay.

I don't have any credit history in the Philippines so I didn't apply. I have two accounts with BDO, actually not mine, a peso account in my wifes name and a dollar account in my sons name. Shortly afterwards BDO sent my son an unsolicited credit card with 26% interest (2018). I don't know if there was a grace period or they charge interest right away.

Thank for the info. Useful background. Reason for asking is most cards in Philippines max age is 65.

My wife was going to apply, but we prefer Landers now and will not renew our S&R membership

Speaking of Landers, the Arcovia store has reopened, it was closed sometime in February (fire). I understand they have a similar card program.

Since the fire we've been shopping at S&R BGC. We prefer Landers, but both stores have specific products I like but not carried by both of the stores.

Landers has better toilet tissue, this is a must.

Landers sells smaller portion packages of meet products. (more useful)

Landers (some) have same product but smaller, example Prune juice

S&R has more choice on orange juice with much better pricing.

S&R has at least one buy one get one on a bakery product. (The get one we give to our house keeper)

Sometimes I think Landers/S&R are on cahoots with each other regarding pricing.

Prima is the good brand of TP at Landers, but the Prima paper towels are awful. Spend the $$$ and get the Bounty paper towels.

Bounty is the brand I buy in the US.聽

While drinking my coffee I was reminded by my sweetener. From time to time S&R has Members Selection the generic Splenda. When I see (MS) I buy 2 boxes as it becomes unavailable months at a time. Splenda is very $$$

Also from time to time I see these other artificial sweeteners, Equal & Stevia, but I don't remember which store.
