hehehheeh :P you're not good then... PEACE DUDE! animo lasalle!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the help, yes I've been checking out the free classifieds, but most of those places are built by foreigners and seemed to be overpriced on the net by 35%.  I've been to Puerto Galera about 15 times in the past two years, guess I will head down this weekend and take the mountain bike to scout something out.

If anyone has a place for my budget you can email jeepneys@hotmail.com

Thanks for your Help,

:)
good luck, dude.... if youre in sabang, drop by Captn Greggs and just ask for advice there.. theres NOONE the owner ( chuck - an aussie) DONt know there.. :P

@jeepney

I just leased a small house via a Filipino family for April 2026. PHP5k pm. Still looking for a ticket to travel from the Caribbean. No container, leaving everything behind, just a suitcase and cabin luggage, less stress.

My best advice, meet the locals in small barangays. Several trips since 1989. PG since 2000, now retired.

A cheap-Charlie budget traveler from the London, UK, lived abroad for 46 years and counting.  :)

@vihalvor

You might know Danish John, has a small hotel on white Beach?

@jeepney

Yes, avoid doing business with foreigners. It's the locals that need our support. Register with the barangay, more helpful.

@Aidan in HCMC

Thanks, to be honest, I threw away Jens Peters travel book long ago. I lived with local families in different countries since I was 12.
