Withdrawal of Epass Application

I recently got an offer to join a colony through a hiring agency(lets call it A). A applied for my Epass and while waiting for the outcome my dream company (let鈥檚 call it B )offered me a role. Before I accepted B鈥檚 offer i veggies my Epass status in the portal which showed my application from A has been rejected (fortunately convenient for me). So I accepted B鈥檚 offer and asked company A to retract their offers for retract the appeal. After a few days I get mail from B saying they are unable to apply for Epass due to pending application. I tried a lot and made lots of calls and mails to the agency A after which they finally mailed me saying they have initiated the withdrawal of Epass appeal. They should have done this earlier.

I would like to know how long will the withdrawal of Epass application usually take so that I can ask B to apply for the pass? And will it in anyway affect my Epass application from B? Will this be considered job hopping as technically my pass got rejected so accepted the offer from B?

As soon as they withdraw, you can check online and it should reflect that it's been withdrawn. Once you see the status as withdrawn, you can go ahead and ask B to apply for your pass.

As for the length of time you have to wait, I didn't have to wait for weeks, it was just one day.

Thanks for the reply.聽 Will the withdrawal status show on my Epass portal? Also company A wrote to me in their mail saying that MOM takes 3 weeks to process the withdrawal. Is it true?

I would also like to know whether the withdrawal takes time. Will the withdrawal be effective the same day, or it will a few days to process the withdrawal??
