Ensure the annual pension increase applies to all pensioners living abroad

We want the Government to ensure that pensioners get an annual increase if they live abroad in certain countries. Currently, some people do not receive increases even if they have worked 50 years in the UK prior to retiring abroad.

The "pension abroad" issue is trying to right an unbelievable wrong for thousands of British people who live abroad. There is no reason for this law, it is totally illogical and a simple way of the UK Government to squirrel money from people who have very little support, this is monetary bullying. I hope this Petition gains momentum from within the UK because there are now so many people who are considering moving abroad in later life, so it is in the interest of younger people to get involved now in correcting this incredible injustice.

I cannot fathom why your government would do that. It's as if they seek to punish you for moving, and I have no idea how they even came up with that idea. What could possibly be wrong with moving abroad, unless they want you to be as miserable as some others there.

Being from the U.S., I'm shocked that our government has not done the same thing!
