EXPORTING a car from Bulgaria

I am buying a car from a dealer in Sofia and聽 Exporting the car back to the UK the car is going onto a transporter and is being delivered to my front door here in the UK I am not a resident of Bulgari yet but I want to put the car onto Bulgarian Export plates with the 30 day insurance聽 as by doing this I can legally drive the car anywhere in the EU for 30 days Before I get it onto UK registration which the dealer said I can do if I am in the EU .

Has anybody got the answer to this as we have left the EU but the transition period ends in December.

I hope you have sorted your import process and happy with your vehicle in UK.

I'm almost in the same circumstances as you.

Please share with me

. the duty fee in UK if applicable after brexit
. Bulgarian Export plate number can it be extended to three months from one month?

Please let us know all the fees I have to pay until I register the car with DVLA
