Do I need an ID card before I register my S1 form?

I am 75 years old and moved to Malta from the UK on 9.4.23 as my family live here. I live in a retirement village and am self funding. I am still waiting for my ID card that was applied for in April 2023. Do I need this to register my S1?

Hello Dear, I can鈥檛 help you as I am not from the UK. You might find a lot of helpful advice on an expats FB group named Expats Malta.

Make sure to register to that specific one group as there are a bunch of FB Malta groups, the aforementioned one is the best regarding legal advice. It鈥檚 a very active group.
