Hello everyone,


My partner and I are seriously considering relocating to Malta within the next year, and we鈥檇 love to hear real experiences from people who鈥檝e been through the process.


About us:


I鈥檓 an American/Egyptian filmmaker and artist.


My partner is an American + German citizen, a vocalist/musician.


We currently live in the U.S. and plan to move together as a married couple under the EU-family residency route.


We鈥檙e looking for any insight on:


How your residency process went (timelines, documents, steps with Identit脿).


How long it took to receive your residence card after applying.


Whether you used a lawyer or handled everything yourself.
