A stray r?聽 Diving is certainly better

Mediterranean lifestyle
Ive heard of motorway madness in Uk but here there are no motorways so it must just be madness...
Biddy, explain the 'med lifestyle' I am interested,I've read were people say 'come out and try for awhile see how you adjust'At least now I know, there's peace, good diving, shops close at funny times and no motorways.....lol
For us it's get up early, get chores and shopping done, have a few coffees/kinnie/whatever while you do it, siesta, stir, move round a bit, walk slowly, stop to chat, eat and drink very leisurely, chat long time, watch sun go down. go out, eat, drink, chat.
Or just go to the beach when it is hot, laze around, eat, drink, chat etc.
let me put it this way - people here are very relaxed, no matter what.
e.g. - if you say 'the house is burning!' the answer will be something like 'ok, we'll see what we can do about it next week' :) I am exaggerating of course just to give you the idea. and don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is something good or bad, however it is definitely something you should get used to. my life has always been really fast and obviously I'll need more time to adjust as sometimes I like Maltese approach very much and sometimes I want to run away screaming :)

I love pastizzi!!
Great lunch today at Xlendi, 5 hour, I cannot begin to tell you how much we love it. Fantastic people.

and dont forget the hobz bi-zejt...and the wudis and the timpana....mmmmmmmm and the paprika peanuts....and the gozo goats cheese....
don't forget that if you drive a bus here, it will probably be a bendy bus...you know..the ones they got rid of in the UK. Oh and Redmik.... if you do everything so slowly you will turn into a pumpkin! well certainly that shape!! Lol. :)
Thanks guys+girls for all your remarks, this sounds like my sort of place, think I am going to enjoy everything Malta has to offer, regards,Adrian

Thanks for the compliment, I already am.

An Afghanistan/Iraq Simulation in the Summer months (ie noisy festa bombs exploding anytime of day or night)..Hunters that shoot at anything that moves.. too many cars and poor public transport .. and oh.. roads/projects that take about 3 or 4 years to complete, if lucky :D聽 example: Mellieha bypass.. Ferry port on the Malta side which has been under construction since i've been here! (IE some years!)

Other than that, Malta's great! Relaxed.. great sea.. great people.. great food.. easy to get around in a short time ...
