Good news about the house sale: we moved out here in May and live in Nadur and all well so far. Been very busy working in the diving business (lots of extra divers visited Malta and Gozo due to problems in Egypt). Had my last work just a couple of weeks ago and its finally gone quiet which gives me time to catch up on things - such as ex-pat blog. Cheers and good luck with the move.

Hi All,

Just an update on the sale of our house, we now have a completion date of the 13th Jan so hope to be in Malta on or around 15th Jan.

Still so much to do :S

When the cold north wind blows as it is at the moment, you will need those thermals

We are warmer in our apartment than we are outside at the moment, despite the sun shining. Haven't started using heaters yet but are told that we will by Christmas.

I was watching people with their coats on today via the Malta webcams, that sun does look deceiving

in windy and high up Mellieha its warmer outside than in - and in Bugibba / Qawra its been lovely and warm - same as this morning in Luqa it was roasting.

AAAArrrrrggggghhhhhhh com'on guy's you know it's bloody freezing here, well currently blowing a gale and set for -2C tomorrow. The thought of a cool cisk in the warmth is the only thing keeping me going

yeah definitely within our reach now and also possibly have accommodation sourced as well but signing nothing until we have had a good look at it and put a few questions to the landlord.聽
