I used to have a friend from Afghanistan whose Mum would send him food parcels, which regularly contained cabbage wrapped rice parcels.聽

Despite searching, I cannot seem to find a recipe for them that incorporates the seasoning and flavours that these had.聽 Sadly, I cannot ask him for the recipe as we have lost touch, but I was wondering if anybody here may have a similar recipe, or perhaps know somebody with one.

Fingers crossed, here's hoping.

Thanks for that.聽 Unbelievably, although I have lost touch with my Afghan friend, I reconnected with another friend who is currently working in Afghanistan.聽 She is going to blag a real home cooking recipe for me.
