Small earthquake in Malta?

JohnS

The Times reports a finding by the University that there have been small seismic disturbances in Malta over the last few days.

I think I have felt my own apartment building shake just a little once or twice.

Has anyone else noticed this?

not in Gozo, but appears Gozo is twice the distance from the epicentre as much of Malta

I see already comments that this is god's warning to the Maltese to vote no in the divorce referendum....

In Sliema I felt 3 of them and 1 in Santa Venera. They aren't big ones I mean they are a few of the common ones in Mediterranean but according to me the buildings aren't so substantial and this makes me think about the earthquakes. But thank goodness Malta is an originally rocky island :)

I felt the 4.1 one! Was just a bit of a shake and rumble... bit of excitement on an otherwise quiet day though! I've been reading into it and seems that its pretty normal, although it DID have me thinking about safety points in the flat!!
