Indeed, trying to get back into the UK would be the safest,聽 in my mind. Not that health care is great in Britain, these days. So I am told by a British ex health care worker who has been living in Tenerife North聽 for a very long time. She also is very fond of the medical system and had successful knie operations.

I know that the elderly don't like to leave Tenerife. In that case it would be best to change life style to try and get as healthy as possible. By the way, Tenerife is planning some governmental care for the elderly, but that make take time. I know many frail people who employ private help which they pay out of their own pocket. To find a good soul like that who is affordable is another good option.
