Tavernes (Tabernes) de la Valldigna

Hi all

Myself and my partner are considering buying a holiday home within commuting distance (public transport) of Valencia Airport.聽聽We came across Tavernes de la Valldigna and have visited the area but I was wondering what it's like as a town to live in?聽 We would have to learn Catalan and we have Irish passorts.聽 We were wondering if the town is anti-holiday residents and if we would find it hard to integrate? Also if there is much incidence of squatters around that area聽 (we'd probably be there about a month or more during summer and then a week or two each at Christmas and Easter).聽聽I've searched online but it seems hard to find any info about the town (I know they are having issues with the beach but otherwise, I can't see to get much info about the area).聽 I'd really appreciate any info or advice.聽 Many thanks
