Hi all. Hope everybody is doing okay.

I just want to ask or check if there has been procedure on how an expat can claim the end-of-service indemnity paid to SIO since Mar 2024 by our employer? Is this something you will get when you leave Bahrain for good and not when you just transfer to another company in Bahrain?

Appreciate any helpful information.

Sorry Xtang, I didn鈥檛 quite understand your reply the first time. I though you were referring to a post entitled Departure or Transfer where you鈥檝e answered the same question.

I was just checking actually if somebody got any info of how exactly we can claim the indemnity as I don鈥檛 seem to find any information from SIO website itself and tried reaching out to them many times.

@logicalindian, when to claim this EOS , is it after employment termination? I tried to search from eservices section for EOS Submission, it still shows no records found

As per the new rules, you can apply for EOS when you leave the country for good. If you are still working for another employer in the country, you cannot apply for EOS.
