The maximum withdrawal depends on which banks' cajero autom谩tico and card you use.聽 They can be and are different, the rules being set by each particular bank.

Do a search for
peru retiro maximo cajero automatico
...and you can see that some banks allow up to $800 USD (or the equivalent in soles), some allow 3000 soles, some $500 USD or 1500 soles, etc. etc.
My US bank allows me $1000 (US) in one withdrawal and max for a 24 hour period and they refund me the ATM fee the foreign bank charge me. My question is : do different banks use their own limits I can withdraw with my US ATM card ?

Thank you very much
OK, I searched the link you sent. Sorry, I got info there, thanks.

Thank you very much
Make sure you find out, if you can, if your bank card will be accepted by another bank's ATM in Per煤.聽 I can tell you in Colombia, it's a matter of trial and error - some banks will accept some US bank cards but others will not, some cards will work OK in one bank's machines but not in another bank's machines.聽 So you may want to consider taking several cards from different banks just in case.
I had a few cards but cancelled all but one i have with Charles Schwab and i never had a problem using it in Asia, Europe or Ecuador.
Hopefully it will work in Peru ???? Do you happen to know any one using Schwab Debit card and if it works no problem ?
Thank you very much again
The one card will probably work OK, then , with one bank's or another's ATMs - if you are OK with putting all your eggs in one basket, go for it.聽 I'm sorry but I cannot definitively state yes or no as to whether that card will work, and where, that is beyond my meager powers.

You could always try emailing the banks you might run into wherever you may go - you can see on a map where each bank's branches are in almost any given city, along with their contact information, doing an internet search.

For instance for Scotiabank you can find where the branches and cajeros are in a given city from this link:

I hope it works as good as it has everywhere else I have used it ?????
I can contact Schwab to find out what banks in Peru will accept their card too.
They will guide me I am sure.....
Thank you very much again.
