Carte de sejour

My husband and I applied for CDJ (Tarn et Garonne) at the same time in January. We both have our attestaions. Hiwver, he received email to apply for appointment at prefecture 4 weeks ago (rdv made for 28 july) but I have received nothing.聽 Is this normal and are there others of you in same situation ?

The wheels of French bureaucracy grind slowly.聽 In the Gers the Prefecture gave me the date and time for my appointment and were very understanding when I could not attend because of the death of my wife.聽 It was rearranged easily.聽 Are you sure that you have understood correctly.聽 Perhaps the date for the interview was 28 July.

I'm in not quite the same situation as my partner is Irish and still an EU citizen so hasn't had to apply but I understand it must be frustrating that your husband has a rendezvous and you haven't!聽聽I shouldn't worry too much, though - I applied online late December 2020 and received my attestation in January. I've heard nothing since, except reassurance (when I was panicking a bit earlier in the year and chased it up) that I would be called for interview in due course.聽 Waiting patiently!聽
(By the way, if you haven't already, print out and keep the attestation with you at all times...)
