Hello, Does anyone now the process of giving The power of attorney to expat who is an employee in Bahrain. So my friends company is from Europe and also have branch here in Bahrain and needs to give a power of attorney to the employee in Bahrain so they can manage some things. Anyone familiar with the process and documentation? Thanks

to manage someone cr in bahrain based on poa u need NOC from ur sponser if u can't聽 do poa to someone in barhain without noc from his sponser

however poa can be done outside bahrain and attested in bahrain to avoid the step

however legally still the sponser has the right ot object as the law does not allow you to do something else in ur free time either paid for freely while u are employed

LMRA聽 would not recognise power of attorney unless it was granted to a Bahrani citizen. Right or wrong they stood their ground.

LMRA does recognize POA if it is executed in Bahrain.聽 I have used Bahrain executed POA for this reason and am not a Bahraini citizen. For foreign executed POA, it is a hit and miss depending on their mood.
